Iron infusion & all other medical procedures

Dr San Ku & Ms Lou (RN) specialise in iron infusions, women’s health & pregnancy.  Please call our nurse, admin for any inquiries.

Practice Fees 
Our standard appointment time is 15 mins which is longer than most other practices in 4300. This 15 mins booking time allows us to spend the time that we need with you.

We offer bulk billing for Children under 16, Pensioners, Health Care Card holders for the following 2 consults.

Standard Consult – Total cost: $84.85, Medicare : $42.85  Out of Pocket $42
Long Consult – Total cost: $124.90, Medicare : $82.90  Out of Pocket $42

 

Important – Please note:

Our clinic can NOT bulk bill for following 3 bookings at this time for all patients including Children under 16, Pensioners and Health Care Card holders.

Telehealth – Total cost: $84.85 Medicare : $42.85 Out of Pocket $42

Double (2 booking time) – Total cost: $166.90 Medicare : $82.90 Out of Pocket $84

Prolonged Consultation – Total cost: $206.15, Medicare : $122.15  Out of Pocket $84

 

Fees Explained

What is Bulk billing?
Bulk billing means that the practice is paid directly by Medicare on behalf of the patient.
 Do you bulk bill?
Some services are bulk billed including childhood immunisations, chronic disease care plans and Govt funded health assessments.
  
 Why would I choose to pay a private fee rather than go to a bulk billing clinic?
– Private billing doctors tend to have a more stable pool of repeat patients.
 
– Private billing doctors can develop good personal relationships during consultation and gain a better idea of patient’s medical history, diagnosis and treatment.
 
– Private billing clinics often have a lower daily patient intake and are able to spend more time for patients’ health issues.
 
 – Bulk billing doctors have to get patients in an out the door quickly. As a result it is hard for them to focus on the patient’s complex health issues.
 
– With the pressure to get patients in and out the door quickly alleviated, this allows privately billing doctors to spend longer with each patient and provided a higher quality of care.
 
 Why Accepting cash payment? 

During the Covid Pandemic, the decision was made to not accept cash payment. Please note, we do not keep cash on the premises.  

Translator Services
For patients with language difficulties a telephone translator service can be arrange on 131 450.

 Non-attendance, Late Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

We understand that things pop up and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However we do ask that you cancel your unwanted booking at least 4 business hours so that we can find someone as quickly as possible.

If you fail to notify us within 4 business hours, there is a fee of $50 for a standard appointment or $100 for a long appointment. You need to call us and pay the fee over the phone or in person. 

We do NOT accept any excuses or explanations. We are unwilling to tolerate any attempts to explain or excuse a particular situation, because you have a wide variety of options to choose from to cancel your booking.
